Hello!  My name is Wayne Rowe, thanks for stopping by!

I am a sales and marketing professional.  I have directed business development and marketing departments, pushed pixels around into compelling marketing materials, lead and participated on analyst relation teams and other sales support functions too numerous to mention.

I have worked with, in and helped to grow young/small companies, established private companies and gigantic corporations.  

I am currently fascinated with all things Web 2.0 and getting my social media/networking back up to spec.

Personally, I love:

- anything to do with home theater (am a big DLP, Toshiba, Denon, Onkyo and Klipsch fan. I don't like Sony and I think my PS3 knows.)

- movies (yeah I have seen the important films, but I *buy* ones that entertain me.... I buy on Blu-ray *and* HD DVD, but obviously not for much longer.)

- books (Currently re-reading Old Man's War and Jim Hardison's manuscript for Demon Freaks (dynamite stuff))

- video games (Atari, C64, Nintendo, Sega, PS (1-3), Xbox original and 360)

- learning new things

- long walks on the beach

- and the Red Sox!

My wife and I have lived in glorious Portland, OR for nearly three years.
